Edmonton Summer Skate Crew: Rocket

It's a hot dry summer, which is perfect for skating outdoors in Edmonton. This week we meet Rocket, who happens to consider the Callingwood skate park here in the YEG her favourite. At 19,500 square feet Callingwood was built in 2009 and recently upgraded in the spring of 2017. Here you'll find collection of street skating elements for beginners, intermediate and expert skaters. The surrounding area is full of family friendly amenities including the Lois Hole EPL, the YMCA, a splash park, a playground, bbq pits, baseball diamonds and the rec centre! Remember if you see us all up on our quad skates, say HI!!!!

Skater Name and Number: Rocket #17

How long have you been playing derby? 2 Years

What made you start derby? I saw E-Ville at Pride and thought that they looked kinda cool, and I wanted to be cool as well.
