FAQs

Q: I want to learn how to skate. How can I join E-Ville?

A: We offer a Rookie Rollers program once or twice a year for new skaters. We will announce the date for the next program through our website, social media and mailing list. If you don't see anything, it's because we haven't finalized the date yet.

Q: When is E-Ville's next game and can I watch it?

A: We host home games in Edmonton a couple times a year. Please come watch! The public is welcome to attend these games for a small admission fee. We will post about all upcoming games on our website and social media.

Q: Can experienced skaters drop in to practices?

A: Yes, we welcome skaters from other leagues and/or experienced roller derby players to drop in to our practices. The Drop-In fee is $15 and you can find our current practice schedule here.

Q: Can kids skate with E-Ville?

A: Yes, we have a Juniors team for kids ages 8+ that practices twice a week. We are currently updating our Intake process and unfortunately cannot accept new Juniors at this time.

Q: What if I want to get involved but I don't want to skate?

A: There are many ways to get involved in roller derby! Our league is always looking for Referees, NSOs (Non-Skating Officials) and Medics. Please contact eville.officials@gmail.com if you would like to sign up.
